SO I think it's been about a week since I had a real blog post not pertaining ot Cafepress. Yup. What a shame. Anyways, I'm going to the lake this weekend and unless my nana and papa have already moved the wifi up there then I will be Twitterless and internet in general-less. SO sad. I know i promised to post a patterns for the purse but I haven't written it down yet, so I will probably do that on the ride up to the lake. I will post it first chance I get, which will be Monday or Tuesday. SO yeha. Stay tuned and have a great weekend!

Eventful Weekend

SO this weekend was pretty eventful to me. FIrst, I had a guiatr recital on Friday night and I actually did pretty well. Saturday I went on a Poker Run(look it up) and I won with a Ace King Queen Spade flush or something like that. I got 2 tickets to Dollywood. Yup. Then my mom got a call that afternoon and she had won a $1000 Ingles (look it up) gift card. Then I went to see the Pirates movie (which I will be writing a review on soon) and after I had to stand in line at Brixx pizza for a half hour just because my mom wanted a take out and I wasn't even hungry. SO yeah. That about sums up my weekend.

Honestly, I hate myself right now. I was supposed to see the Pirates movie last night but I fell asleep and when I woke up it was today. SO yeah. I'm going to see it Saturday as a kind of end-of-the-world party! After I go on a motorcycle poker run that morning . ANd i've got to go to a guitar recital tonight . SO i'm booked.

No Apocalypse Saturday

SO the idiot who predicted the world ending Saturday, May 21, 2011 has been recieving a lot of attention lately. Honestly, I don't believe it will end Saturday. Lots of people have been saying that he overlooked a certain part of the bible. The part where it says that God will tell no man or angel or even his son but only himself will know. Well the guy's response to that is apparently, God trusts him and told him so he could tell everyone. Ok... so the Bible was lying? I remain unconvinced. Also, his reason to believe the rapture date is because that major events in Biblical times happened seven days apart. And one verse says that a thousand years are like a day in God's eyes. Or something like that. SO the dude magically came up with the date of the last major event, the great flood, and concluded that 7,000 (7,000 of our years apparently= 7 God-days)years after the great flood is going to be Saturday. Okay. But he said it was like one day. Taking it a littlew too literally there? And what if the guy was off a few days on the exact date of the flood?? Hmm? Well, that means 1,000 more years of life for Earth! Also, the whole thing might have been a publicity stunt. Before the announcment, he was on a very unpopular radio show that made next-to-no money. But the announement came, and BAM! he's a millionare. Honestly, no hate intended, but some Christians can overreact about everything that has to do with God, Jesus, or the Bible. SO yeah. Talk to you guys Monday.

No More Blogging

Yep. You heard me. Because the world is obviously ending on Saturday at 6:00 because there will be a giant earthquke that will tear the worlds apart. At least, according to the guy who predicted the world was going to end 2 other times already. He supposedly "interpreted the bible" and came out saying he knew when the world was going to end. Reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer did some math and calculated when the world was going to end and everyone believed him but the was wrong. So he went back and looked at his work and he did some amth wrong and said it was going to end the next day and it did but nobody believed him. So yeah. That's why I'm going to see the Pirates movie on Friday BEFORE the world ends. But if it does end on Saturday, nobody will see the last Harry Potter film, so instead the world may actually end on July 15th instead. At least, my world will.
